Last Friday was the largest candle fundraiser ever kick off in an effort to provide relief to the victims of the recent earthquake that devastated the island nation of Haiti. All across North America, Gold Canyon Demonstrators and customers are partnering with Save the Children to help. Starting February 12, 55% of the sales from fundraising candles purchased from a Demonstrator's personal website will be donated to Save the Children.Gold Canyon's Goal
Co-Founder Karen Waisath shared the commitment to raise at least $100,000 for this noble cause, sharing, "With all of us working together, I know we will definitely make a difference!" Because helping children in need is a cause near and dear not only to Curt's and Karen's hearts, but to those of all the home office Coworkers and our caring Demonstrators, we know that together, we can truly make an impact and bring relief to those who are hurting most.
So just how big of a difference can our Gold Canyon family make? Look how easy it will be for Gold Canyon Demonstrators to truly make a difference:
·Approximately 8,000 Demonstrators have a personal website.
·The average donation per candle will be $10.08 (based on average price of the three candle sizes).
·If each Demonstrator with a personal website sells just three fundraiser candles, based on the averages, our donation would be $241,920!
There is no doubt that we can not only achieve, but exceed our goal. So far, with my hosted parties and personal sales we have raised $21.00, this doesn't seem like much but ever little bit counts! We are on our way. Let's see just how big the largest candle fundraiser can be!

For those not familiar with Gold Canyon Candles, they are based in Chandler, Arizona. They have donated over $1.7 million dollars to aid children throughout the world who are in need.
